New technology of flame retardant TBC production comes out

China University of Petroleum (East China) recently developed the production technology of flame retardant TBC. Compared with the domestic commonly used technology, this technology has the advantages of high yield, less solvent loss, low production cost and good product chromaticity

TBC produced by traditional process is generally reacted in chlorinated alkane solvent, and then precipitated by adding precipitant. The production process has high energy consumption, large solvent loss, low yield and serious pollution. The new d-experimental steel ball diameter process adopts a new reaction system, and the solvent can be reused. There is no need to build a distillation tower that separates chlorinated alkanes and precipitants from 27 colleges and universities such as Jilin University and Northeast Normal University, and 357 R & D institutions such as the Chemical Research Institute and Changchun Institute of biological products, which simplifies the production process and reduces the investment cost

it is understood that the scientific name of flame retardant TBC is Tri (2,3-dibromopropyl) isocyanate, which is a new kind of additive bromine flame retardant with triazine ring.
